I have a passion for home improvement and will be writing many “how to” articles on DIY projects. Some of these include wiring an outlet, plumbing a bathroom , installing decking or even just repairing your drywall!
Building Is An Adventure
The journey to building houses has been an interesting one. I’ve learned so much along the way and want to share what’s worked for me, including helpful tips like how not to be afraid of buying tools you may think are too expensive or that don’t last long enough-it can actually pay off in other ways!

Just wondering where you are located ?
I’m ready to finally start building my deck, 45×18 I have done construction most of my life but really never built a deck I could really use some help. I’m 52 and have 2 tears on right rotator cuff so it will be difficult to build by myself. have all tools to do the job, but it’s not easy to find good help!!! At a fair price. Or any help in that case. Thanks for posting and helping other people succeed. North West Indiana. Very southern tip of Lake Michigan.
